  1. I feel like this article definitely shows that college is worth the debt, as long as you can stay to get your degree. This seems logical in all economic situations; if you don't get your degree, and don't plan on ever getting it, your time in college would be practically "worthless" job-wise, no matter how the economy is doing.

    I think also people have to remember that we will eventually be out of the recession. If in 30 years someone our age still only has their high school diploma, and is in some 9-5 job they hate, they may regret not going to college simply because they didn't wish to have debt for a few years after.
