This reminds me of how 300,000 temporary census workers were added to the roles early a few month ago, just to make the unemployment number look a little better
ReplyDeleteYour second article is interesting because it shows that certain countries are supporting us while others blame us for the current state of the economy.
ReplyDeletethe first article is about a year old, but I think its interesting to take a look at what was expected in 2008. It seems like everyone was a secretly a little happy the USA was "behind", but also worried for their own futures, knowing they would follow in the crisis.
ReplyDeleteAs for the second article, I never really thought about the fact that government jobs would be more stable. I guess that makes sense, but it is pretty interesting.

ReplyDelete(2nd Article) Some countries just don't like us and because of that are blame us for the economic crises while other countries are to wrapped up in their own mess to point fingers.
