My second article can be found here . This article is about Obama's discussion with middle class workers about the economy and how things are looking up again. Unlike Ben Bernanke though, Obama believes the road to a complete turn around is a long one and will take a lot of work.

My first article can be found here. It's about how Ben Bernanke, the chairman of the Federal Reserve, believes that the recession is over. But only for now. He thinks that America can bounce back quickly, but the problem lies in whether it can go back to where it was during the recession just as fast.

the second article is really interesting because there are two sides to it. but i believe that obama has it correct and that all the causes of the depression are still to determine the aftermath and consequences of this crisis.
ReplyDeleteI think it is interesting that some think President Obama and Chairman Bernake seem to have differing public stances, at least to some. They are part of the same administration, it is reasonable to think their statements would be coordinated. I think this may be because Chairman Bernake is trying to lead just Wall Street, while Preisdent Obama is trying to lead a nation.
